I wanted to make sure you’re excited and ready to get your teeth into your transformation, so I made this blog post for you.

Q. WHO’S IT FOR?

The 21 Day Kickstart Challenge is for any man over 35 who wants to finally stop procrastinating and get the ball rolling towards his ideal strength, physique, fitness and mindset

“Every man who is a part of the Tribe at Wimbledon Strength Club is a team player, and wants everyone else to succeed as much as himself. I believe it’s our greatest strength”

Most men’s reasons for starting the Challenge – and continuing afterwards – are along the lines of:

  • Wanting to be fitter & stronger and/or having a better looking physique
  • Because of their current health or worries about future health
  • Because they are Dads and want to be around for as long as possible for their kids, and to have the energy to be actively engaged with them
  • Wanting their clothes to fit better and to look good in a suit
  • So they can take of their tee shirt with confidence at the beach, by the pool or even in the bedroom
  • For self-respect, self confidence and just to feel better
  • Wanting to be their best selves physically, emotionally, professionally and wanting to set a good example as a strong and mature masculine man


Q. WHAT ARE THE RESULTS I CAN EXPECT?

Coming to Wimbledon Strength Club will make you stronger and more muscular, it will make you fitter and more healthy, it will strengthen your mental toughness and resilience

Your strength & physique will improve and so will your health and how you feel on the inside. It’s that simple and I’ll explain how tomorrow

It’s a small private gym strictly for members only and we are designed with results and experience in mind. We cherish our community and are precious about the positive, team-based training environment, so we ensure that anyone who might upset the apple cart doesn’t get past the front door

 

Q. HOW LONG IS THE ORIENTATION?

Usually up to an hour long and I will have some time afterwards for questions if there’s anything you’re still not sure about or didn’t want to say in front of others

IS IT A BUSY GYM FULL OF MEATHEADS & YOUNGSTERS?

Nope.

It’s members only and the membership is carefully curated.

No-one is under 35 and most of us are in our mid 40s (we even have some fellas knocking 55 and they’re dong great)

We only have people who here who want you to win

 

DO I NEED TO BE FIT, STRONG OR EXPERIENCED AT LIFTING?

Definitely not.

Our unique approach to semi-private training means you can join at any ability level and fit right in with any of the groups already training here (after your initial technique training and assessment)

Naturally as a new member you’ll get more hands-on, 1-2-1 attention whilst the more experienced lads will be able to crack on with their training and even help you out whilst you’re learning the ropes

 

DOES IT MATTER THAT I DO (OR USED TO) SMOKE & DRINK?

We won’t turn you away because of it. Not at all. And we won’t judge you either.

However, you should understand that the more you smoke and drink, the more it will affect the speed and scope of your results

Interestingly, many people stop smoking after they join as a natural side-effect of becoming fitter and stronger and not wanting to be held back by dependence

 

I HAVE AN INJURY/I’VE HURT MYSELF BEFORE IN THE GYM, CAN I STILL DO IT?

95 times out of 100; Yes

Dan & I are very experienced working exclusively with men like you. Almost all of our members have an ongoing issue or past injury with their back, shoulder, hip or knee – sometimes more than 1 of the above – and it’s a daily occurrence for us to work with and around injuries and other restrictions whilst getting the best results possible

Caveat: even the most physically able people need to have their creases ironed out now and then when training regularly, so have an open mind to making the odd visit to a manual therapist. We know a couple of really good ones locally

 

I MAY MISS SOME SESSIONS, WHAT HAPPENS THEN? IS IT STILL WORTH IT?

We understand you’re busy and we’re ready to work with you to make this work. Whether it’s kids, work, illness or life getting in the way, if you miss a session we’ll do our best to get you in on another day and/or at another time. Again, most of our men have this type of challenge and we almost always manage to overcome it together

 

AM I COMMITTED TO JOIN IF I COME TO THE ORIENTATION?

No. The orientation is your chance to make sure we’re a good fit for you. If you choose us to help guide you to your desired outcome we’ll be honored to help, and if you’re not blown away by what we do that’s 100% ok: we don’t want people at the gym who don’t want to be there

In fact I make it my personal mission to ensure that even if you don’t sign up you’ll still be glad you came and take some sort of value away with you
